Use the Family Partners screen to enter information about prospective homeowners and families who currently live in a Habitat home.
To access the Family Partners screen, open the Families tab in the Keystone ribbon and click Family Partners.
Please note that all homeowners are family partners, but not all family partners are homeowners. Family Partners is a broader term that includes prospective homeowners and homeowners.
To select a family partner’s record on the Family Partners screen, select either their name from the Family Partners drop-down list (which is listed in alphabetical order by last name) or their address from the HFH Address drop-down list. If you know the family partner's ID number, you can instead select it from the ID drop-down list. After you make a selection from one of these fields, the others are automatically filled in.
If there are two family partners in one record and they have different last names, you can find them under either last name in the Family Partners drop-down list.
If the family partner is paying closing fees or has an active mortgage defined in Keystone, their payment status is displayed to the right of the fields above in blue text surrounded by a blue box. This message tells you whether the status relates to closing fees or their mortgage, and then includes a description of the status itself. The possible descriptions are:
Examples: Closing Fees Delinquent means the family partner is beyond the grace period for their closing fees payment. Mortgage Current means the family partner is current on their mortgage.
There are six tabs on the Family Partners screen on which you can enter a variety of information about a family partner. They are:

Clicking the symbol (lower-right) allows you to set the position of the Family Partners screen within the main Keystone window. After you do this, Keystone will remember this position and display the Family Partners screen in that same position each time you open it. You can set a new position for the screen by clicking the symbol again. For more information, see the Custom Screen Positioning section.
The HFH Address and Payment Status fields are also navigation fields.
Double-clicking the HFH Address field takes you to the homeowner’s record on the Property Address screen, where you can review additional details about their address. Click the button on the Property Address screen to return to the Family Partner screen.
Doubling-clicking the message (such as Mortgage Delinquent) displayed in the payment status area (if applicable) takes you to the Closing Fees screen or the Mortgage/Payment Information screen, depending on what is being displayed in the payment status area. Click the button on that screen to return to the Family Partner screen.
