Address Tab

The Address tab stores both the HFH Property Address and the Mailing Address for the selected family partner(s).

Note that the HFH Address field at the top of the screen is used for selecting the family partner, while the one on this tab is used for assignment to the family partner.

Assignment - HFH Property Address pane

Use the Assignment - HFH Property Address pane to record the address of the Habitat property in which the family partners now live or to which they have been assigned.

Address field - Select the property address from the Address drop-down list. Once you have assigned a house address to this family partner, most of the other fields on this screen will be filled in from the data you entered on the Property Addresses screen for that address.
Use As Mailing Address check box - This check box overrides any other mailing addresses for the family partners. Check this box after the family partner(s) move into the house unless the homeowner wants mail sent to a different address such as a PO Box.
Ref # field - The Ref # field can be used to store a unique identifier for the property from your affiliate's accounting records. This can be a number or a combination of letters and numbers.
The City, State, and Postal Code (ZIP Code) fields complete the remainder of the information about the property.

The Mailing Address pane

The Mailing Address pane contains the family partner's address prior to moving into their Habitat house. This is the address at which they receive correspondence from your affiliate prior to their move-in date. This is generally entered into Keystone when a family is accepted into the family partnership program.

When the family partner moves in, check the Use As Mailing Address check box in the HFH Property Address pane to make their home address their new mailing address, unless the homeowner wants mail sent to a different address such as a PO Box.
