General
We care about providing you with tools and information to manage and protect your online privacy. We have developed this privacy policy to inform you about what information this web site collects, who may receive that information, what we may do with the information, and how long we keep it. While we have made every attempt to make this policy as clear as possible, if you have any further questions about it, feel free to contact us.
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy from time to time. We will post all policy changes to this page.
Your Information
We will not give out any information you submit at our site to any third parties except in compliance with a request of a law enforcement agency. Under no circumstances will your name, e-mail, phone number, or address be sold to, or given to any other parties. We will never willfully sell, lease, or rent any of your or your business’s personally identifiable information to any third party.
If you use PayPal to subscribe to a MoreThanData product or renew a subscription, that transaction is governed by PayPal’s Privacy Policy and User Agreement. We receive no credit card or bank account information from PayPal regarding your transaction. The name and contact information you submit to PayPal for purchases or subscriptions are provided to us by PayPal and are retained by MoreThanData solely for the purposes of knowing that you are our customer, where to ship your order, and how we can reach you to provide support.
Prior to submitting payment via PayPal, you may be asked to fill in an online information form that will submit certain affiliate and contact information to MoreThanData. This information is collected so that we may process your order and create a customer record in our database in order to provide you with technical support and related services. We do not share this information with anyone not associated with MoreThanData.
If you subscribe to a MoreThanData product or renew a subscription by personal or company check, MoreThanData will retain information related to the name and contact information on the check, the check number, and the bank from which the check originated for the purposes of verifying payment.
If you wish to download a software update for a MoreThanData product, you must enter your affiliate ID and the e-mail address used as the primary contact for Keystone at your affiliate. This information is verified against our customer database, and upon verification that your affiliate’s subscription is current, access to the software update is then permitted.
Testimonials used on this site are used with the permission of the persons quoted.
Collected Information
Information about you or your affiliate is collected through our order, contact, download, and e-mail forms. This website has no applications or programs that gather personally identifiable information from your computer without your consent. When submitting a form, users may be required to give us contact information (e.g., your name and e-mail address) and demographic information (e.g., your zip code). Certain information, such as your e-mail address, may be collected in order to verify your identity and for use in our records. All such information is only collected when you submit it to MoreThanData, Inc. (MTD) through a web form, when you e-mail it to us, contact us for technical support, or when you subscribe to or renew a product. Information collected at this website is kept in our records only as long as is necessary to provide requested services to our customers.
The MoreThanData User Forum uses a “cookie” so that it can know that you are logged in to the forum area. It is used for a limited period of time so that the forum software will know to keep you logged in while you are using the forum. The cookie is designed to expire after a certain period of time, so you may be asked to log in again after a few hours. This cookie is no longer active once you log out, though it may persist as an inactive cookie in your browser depending on your browser’s settings.
The software update form uses a “cookie” to temporarily store your registration information while it is verified with our customer records. It is not used for any other purpose. Downloads are logged in our customer database in order for MoreThanData Support to know which product version your affiliate has.
We may collect certain general, statistical information in the aggregate about which pages are visited on this web site and other general information about these visits for the purpose of better understanding how we can meet the needs of all site visitors. No information is collected during that process that personally identifies any visitor to the site.
Keystone reports a set of affiliate statistics to MoreThanData every 30 days by way of your Internet connection. Keystone can also generate this report on demand if you initiate it as part of seeking technical support from MTD. These statistics provide information about your affiliate’s computing environment with respect to how you use Keystone (number of users, type of operating systems, etc.) and a summary of which parts of Keystone your affiliate is using and the number of records you maintain (number of Contacts, number of Family Partners, etc.). These statistics will help MoreThanData develop software that best addresses both the highest priority needs and the specific computing environments of affiliates. Only aggregated information is sent to MTD in this report. No personally identifiable information about anyone in your database is transmitted. If you do not want to participate in this program, you can disable this report on the Affiliate tab in Affiliate Setup.
Keystone also collects similar aggregated statistics about your affiliate’s database in calculating your affiliate’s annual Keystone subscription cost. These statistics include the number of records in your database in each functional area of Keystone (e.g., Mortgages, Donors, Volunteers). No personally identifiable information about anyone in your database is transmitted.
Keystone periodically checks the MTD Online Service for news items, whether your subscription date needs to be updated, and similar information. These are then returned to Keystone and displayed on your screen as needed.
If you use KeyAddress for address correction, this involves transmitting names and addresses in your database to a third-party address correction service. Please review the KeyAddress help for more information about this process.
If you use KeyCredit and participate in the credit reporting program to report credit information about homeowners in your database, you will transmit this as a file over a secure connection. MTD then reports that data to credit reporting agencies. MTD does not use or retain this information for any other purpose. Please review the KeyCredit help for more information about this process.
