About Support Licenses



What is a support license?

A support license entitles your affiliate to technical support by phone or e-mail, product updates, and major full-version upgrades as long as your license is current. Licenses last for one year and can be renewed annually. New orders already include a one-year support license in the purchase price. You will only need to pay the annual license amount before the anniversary date of your purchase.

Affiliates must renew their support licenses before they expire in order to avoid paying the same full amount as a new order. As long as you renew before your license expires, one full year is added to the end of your existing support license regardless of when you renew. MoreThanData will send out renewal notices to affiliates well in advance of the expiration date of your license.

In order to be eligible for technical support, product updates, bug fixes, and major upgrades, you will need to have a current support license. Even though we have many volunteers helping us with our work, MoreThanData uses support license fees to pay the expenses we do have and to ensure that we will have the resources necessary to continue to develop, support, and provide training for our products at the highest level of quality.

As an organization, MTD is committed to keeping the cost of our software and other services affordable, producing regular software updates, improving support, and providing training. We are always committed to bringing your affiliate the highest quality information management tools and services at the lowest possible cost.

There is no other single product on the market that will do all that our software does. Other programs only provide some of the features we offer, but at a cost that is often hundreds or even thousands of dollars more. Staying current on your support license will allow you to take maximum advantage of the benefits of the software and support.

How do I know whether my license is current?

Your affiliate should have received an e-mail when you last renewed showing when your current license expires. If you no longer have this e-mail, feel free to contact us toll-free at 1-800-455-5617, or via e-mail at support@morethandata.org, and we'll be happy to tell you.



How do I renew?

To renew your license by mail, you can also print the MTD Order/Renewal Form and mail it in with a check.

To renew your license online using PayPal, go to our Order page. If your license has not yet expired, choose the "One-year Renewal of Keystone Support License (Current)" option. If your license has expired, choose the "One-year Renewal of Keystone/Habitrak Support License (Lapsed)" option. After you submit your affiliate and contact information, you will then go to the PayPal payment form where you will complete the ordering process. Note: You do not need a PayPal account to order by credit card.
