Keystone provides support for electronic funds transfers. To access the Mortgage Payment - Electronic Funds Transfer screen, open the Finances tab in the Keystone ribbon and click Electronic Funds Transfer. This screen displays the homeowners who have the Electronic Funds Transfer box checked in their record on the Mortgage/Payment Information screen.
After you have reviewed these amounts against your bank’s deposit report, click the button to automatically post these amounts to the homeowners’ payment accounts.
The arrow keys can be used with this screen for navigation like in a spreadsheet.
If you are using Electronic Funds Transfer, it is also useful to use the Mortgage Grouping function to allow you to do mortgage reporting on just this subset of homeowners. This report is available on the Reports screen under Finance > Mortgages > Payments Detail/Summary. Select a Payment Method of EFT for this report. This option also allows you to look at just EFT payments.
