Managing Recurring Escrow Payees

You can manage several aspects of an escrow payee's record through the Escrow Recurrent Payees screen.

To modify an escrow payee's payment schedule, posting name, or reference name
  1. Open the Finances tab in the Keystone ribbon and click Recurrent Payees.
The Escrow Recurrent Payees screen appears.
  2. Select the payee from the Escrow Payee drop-down list.
  3. Edit the Name to Post and Reference Name fields, if needed.
Name to Post is a short name that will be recorded when a disbursement is made to this payee.

The Reference Name is a title that describes the reference data - for example, Policy Number, Tax ID, and so forth - that will be used for screen and report headings.
  4. Edit the Payment Schedule, if needed.
The Payment Schedule can be set to Unequal Periods, Monthly, Every 2 Months, Every 3 Months, Every 6 Months, or Annually.

The Due Dates table appears when you select Unequal Periods for the Payment Schedule. You can add the due dates (month and day expressed as MM/DD) of the various payments here.
  5. Click the Close button when you are done.
To modify an escrow payee's name or category

In some cases, you can modify an escrow payee through the Escrow Recurrent Payees screen by making changes on the Escrow Recurrent Payees Add/Delete/Modify window.

If you click Yes to accept the changes, the change will be made for all of the homeowners in that list. If you click Cancel, no changes are made.
