Statistics Tab

The Statistics tab on the Fundraising Activities screen allows you to collect and manually enter information related to a fundraising activity (FRA). This tab captures the following information:

Year - Since an FRA can be continuous (for example, a spring newsletter that is sent out each year), the Year field specifies to which year the rest of the data on this line applies.
Mail Sent - If you sent direct mail for this FRA in the year specified in the Year field, this field is for the number of pieces of mail sent. If you didn’t send direct mail for this FRA, leave this field blank.
Responses - If you sent direct mail for this FRA in the year specified in the Year field, this is the count of the number of donations you received back from that mailing. If no direct mail was used for this FRA, such as with an auction, this field is for the number of responses to the event.
Revenue - This is the revenue generated by this FRA for the specified year.
Expense - This is the cost of this FRA for the specified year. This includes costs for mailing, printing, event planning, or any other expense related to the FRA.
Notes - Any notes that may help explain the results of the FRA or help provide guidance on how to do the FRA better in the future.

This information is used on reports to indicate the performance of the FRA and help your affiliate improve your development returns. These reports include such information as direct mail percent returns, average dollar response, total income, income per response, and so forth.
