Reminders and MTD News

In order to help your affiliate track reminders for deadlines and future activities, Keystone provides a reminder management system. This also includes tracking anniversaries, which are annually recurring events such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries.

Keystone also lets you view important news and updates from MoreThanData. These news updates keep you informed about the latest happenings pertaining to Keystone, KeyCredit, training opportunities, and a variety of other news related to MoreThanData.

Critical MTD News items will appear in red. These are important announcements, so please read them carefully.

Use the Reminders and MTD News Management screen to view due or overdue reminders, upcoming anniversaries, and current MTD news updates. To access this screen, open the Tools tab in the Keystone ribbon and click Reminder Management.

You can record reminder information for many types of contacts. For more information, refer to Recording Log Entries and Reminders.

The Show Now pane on the Reminders and MTD News Management screen gives you two options for selecting which reminders and anniversaries you want to view.

Show MTD News, all anniversaries within next 30 days and only the reminders that are due or past due and entered by - when you start Keystone, anniversaries that will occur within the next 30 days from the current date and open reminders for the selected user automatically appear. You can select the user’s initials for those reminders in the drop-down list to the right.
Show MTD News, all anniversaries within next 30 days and all reminders that are due or past due - when you start Keystone, all anniversaries that will occur within the next 30 days from the current date and all open reminders automatically appear. You will see all such anniversaries and reminders regardless of the user initials assigned to them.

If you have Keystone set to Open Security, you can select the initials of any person whose reminders you would like to view. If you are using User Level Security, you can only view other user’s reminders if you have administrator privileges or are logged in as the Administrator. Otherwise you are restricted to viewing your own reminders.

Once you select one of these options, click the Show button to view those reminders. This opens the Reminders and MTD News screen. See the Reminders section for more information.

You can also set the Reminders and MTD News screen to open automatically when you start your system by opening the Tools tab in the Keystone ribbon, clicking Options, and setting this on the Reminders Management tab on the Options screen.
