Keystone Subscription Licensing

Keystone Service is licensed on an annual basis to your affiliate. Your annual subscription entitles your affiliate to put Keystone on as many computers at your affiliate as you want with as many users as you want. The price of the Keystone Subscription Service is based on your affiliate's usage of Keystone so that you only pay for what you use. If your annual usage expands beyond what's already included in Keystone, so will the price. However, there is a cap to how much this price can be, which still is significantly lower than the starting price of most other non-profit software packages.

Part of your subscription is an annual base cost per year. This includes the full management of family partners, houses, sweat equity, contacts, documents, property acquisition and a limited set of donors, volunteers, and mortgages. As long as you are within the annual base usage of donors, volunteers, and mortgages, the annual price will remain the same. Once your affiliate's usage of Keystone to manage donors, volunteers, and mortgages exceeds this base amount, the annual price increases based on an annual price per record.

You can potentially reduce your Keystone subscription cost by cleaning up your database and removing duplicates or records that are no longer needed.

You have the option of deciding not to use Keystone to manage donors, volunteer, and/or mortgages, which could lower the annual subscription cost for Keystone. If you decide to no longer use Keystone and do not renew your license or do not pay the subscription fee within the grace period of updating your subscription, Keystone becomes read-only. This means you will be able to view the records currently in your database, but you will not be able to edit them, add new records, or perform calculations based on them.
